Somalia president Mohamed Abdulahi Farmaajo on Saturday returned to Mogadishu, following an official trip to Saudi Arabia.

Top Gov’t officials and high security chiefs have welcomed the president at the airport. The president who had appointed a premier before his trip to Saudi Arabia is seeking an international support to tackle security and drought.

In his travel to Riyadh, president has officially received warm welcome from Saudi Arabia and believed to have discussed mutual interests which both governments could share in the near future.

The president met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar, National Guard Minister Prince Miteb bin Abdullah, Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir and others.

It was the first trip he travels abroad since he was elected as the nation’s 9th president in Mogadishu.
