Reliable sources in Puntland as well as our man Dubai are reporting that Mr. Faroole has already started to exert immense pressure on the newly elected Somali President, His Excellency Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to appoint Mr. Abdirazak Juurile as the new Prime Minister of Somalia.
It’s a widely known secret that when Mr. Juurile sought to be elected as the speaker of the new Somali Parliament with Mr Faroole was energetic encouraging to put his name forward and supported with substantial amounts of money to buy votes.
Having failed in that, the pair are now pulling all the steps to get their new venture – that the new PM should be none other than Juurile himself and to get that, Faroole is bringing a lot of pressure to bear on the New President.
Our reliable sources also add that the main reason for this passionate lobbying is that, with new funding for Somali Airports From Italy (EU), coming thorough the new Federal Government, the pair’s intention is get in the inside lane to get their hands on Puntland’s portion of those new Funds for developing the Somali Airports.
In a related report, President Faroole’s Son, Khader organised and held a widely attended meeting in Dubai last night (12 September), in which he strongly pleaded with attendees in the name of his Father, that they should support the appointment of Mr Juurile, should also back him with funds.

This is farole’s demise. Puntland people know who the hell Jurile is. He is the one who looted the Italian aid for Somalia in 1990; he is also the one who instigated the war in which his clansmen waged against people in bosasso in 1989 supported by Siad Barre’s regime. Farole’s days in the office are numbered, he is not trust worth and reliable leader. Believe me people of puntland despised him for very angle of his administration.
